Software QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, improving product performance, and working closely with the development team to ensure flawless releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual & automated)
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and inconsistencies
• Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing on web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand requirements and functionalities
• Create and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
• Report test results and provide quality feedback to ensure timely resolutions

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in manual and automation testing
• Proficiency in writing detailed test cases and bug reports
• Knowledge of testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, Postman, and Selenium
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices
• Familiarity with web and mobile application testing (Android/iOS)
• Basic knowledge of API testing and automation frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with tools like Cypress, Appium, or Playwright is a plus
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
• ISTQB certification is a bonus
