CMS Developer (WordPress/Shopify)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled CMS Developer with hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify. You’ll be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining CMS-based websites, ensuring responsive design, functionality, and high performance. This role requires both front-end and back-end knowledge of CMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress and Shopify themes and plugins/apps
• Convert design mockups into functional and responsive CMS templates
• Customize existing websites and resolve bugs, layout issues, and performance concerns
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs (payment gateways, CRMs, etc.)
• Optimize CMS websites for speed, SEO, and usability
• Perform regular updates, backups, and security enhancements
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and backend developers
• Ensure cross-browser, mobile compatibility, and accessibility standards

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in WordPress theme/plugin development and customization
• Hands-on experience with Shopify store setup, Liquid templating, and app integrations
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.) and Shopify apps
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for CMS platforms
• Experience with Git/version control and debugging tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of REST APIs and AJAX integration
• Understanding of hosting, DNS, and site migrations
• Basic familiarity with tools like Figma or Adobe XD for design interpretation
