Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Manual QA Tester to join our QA team. You’ll be responsible for identifying bugs, creating test cases, and ensuring our applications meet business requirements before they reach our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and prepare detailed test plans
- Create and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues using bug tracking tools (like Jira or Bugzilla)
- Perform regression testing, functional testing, UI/UX validation, and cross-browser testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to resolve issues
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software within deadlines
- Continuously suggest process improvements and best practices for QA
Required Skills:
- Experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design concepts
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a QA/testing role
- Experience in cross-browser and responsive testing
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman is a plus
- Basic knowledge of automation tools is an advantage
