As we scale our applications and handle sensitive data, we’re looking for a Security QA Analyst to help ensure our systems are secure, compliant, and resilient to vulnerabilities.

Job Summary:

The Security QA Analyst will be responsible for performing vulnerability assessments, security test planning, and compliance verification across our digital platforms. You’ll work closely with the QA, DevOps, and development teams to identify and mitigate security risks early in the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security-focused QA testing, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and risk assessments
• Develop security test plans, checklists, and reporting mechanisms
• Identify OWASP Top 10 issues and recommend mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with developers to remediate security bugs
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS
• Work with automation frameworks to include security checkpoints
• Document and report all security findings with actionable recommendations

Required Skills:

• Understanding of web application security, network protocols, and secure coding practices
• Experience with tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nmap, or Nessus
• Familiarity with security standards and compliance regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years in QA or Security Testing roles
• Certifications such as CEH, Security+, or OSCP are a plus
• Experience with secure DevOps practices is desirable
